Welcome to Journeying
Journeying takes small groups of people on guided walking tour holidays in an informal Christian ambience to the more off-the-beaten-track parts of Britain and Ireland. Hiking through beautiful and often remote parts of Scotland, England, Wales and Ireland, the history and heritage of these Islands is all around. Each holiday is led by our knowledgeable volunteer guides who stay with the group throughout the journey.
Our purpose is to provide inspiring holidays that enable us to venture out, leave the every-day and connect with God in creation, in each other and in ourselves. The origins of Journeying lie in Celtic spirituality and pilgrimage is a thread woven through all that we do.

What we offer
7 day or longer journeys staying in one or occasionally two locations with daily walks; short breaks of 2-6 days often over a long weekend staying in one location; Pilgrimage journeys where we stay in several places on the way; Day walks which are free tasters where we meet, walk and return home the same day. Some holidays offer short walks only and others have longer and more challenging walks.
We also offer retreat-style holidays with fewer planned walks and more time to simply be in peaceful surroundings.
In sharing a journey, there's a family feel and a sense of community. Fun and laughter are never far away, and everyone's accepted, just as they are. The days are not crowded with activity, allowing space and time for reflection, either on your own or with others. Each day begins and ends with a time of prayer and simple fellowship.
