Terms & Conditions

Each journey is led by 1-2 volunteer leaders who stay with the group throughout the journey. Our leaders will be very happy to assist you with your travel plans to the journey location. Once your booking form and non-refundable deposit have been received, we will send you confirmation of your booking. The balance is due 8 weeks prior to your holiday.

Cancellations:
If you have to cancel please let us know in writing (by email or letter). Cancellations are effective from the date received. If you cancel 56 days or more before a holiday starts, you will just lose the non-refundable deposit whilst any other payment towards the cost of the holiday will be refunded. For later cancellations, the deposit will be forfeit but any other payment towards the cost of the holiday will be refunded less the following:
56-42 days before the start - 20% of the holiday cost
41-28 days before the start - 50% of the holiday cost
27-0 days before the start - 100% of the holiday cost

Financial Security:
For your financial security, all deposits and pre-payments are safeguarded to comply with the EC Package Travel Directive 1992.

Travel Insurance:
Journeying strongly recommends that you arrange personal travel insurance to cover any cancellation payments or associated transport costs.

Journeying in making arrangements for transport, accommodation and other services, act solely in the capacity of agents, and not principals. All such arrangements made by Journeying are made on the express condition that Journeying shall not be liable for any injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity which occurs by any reason of the condition of any building, structure, boat, or vehicle or any fixture, fitting or accessory thereof or through the act or default of Journeying or their representatives or any other person engaged in the transportation of any person attending or participating in a Journeying holiday or carrying out arrangements on a journey.

Access and Equality Policy:
Journeying aims to attract a wide range of participants on holidays and is committed to fairness and equality of access. We respect all our leaders and guests, irrespective of age, race, gender, religion, sexuality, disability or health status. We do ask, however, that all leaders are Christian and Trinitarian. If guests have a personal access concern regarding the itinerary, accommodation or any other element of the holiday please let us know. We will endeavour to ensure that reasonable adjustments are made, where appropriate and possible, through sensitive and creative solutions.
